About SNC

Solutions Networking Corporation was founded September 1st 2001. Four core management executives banded together to form the new company. Well-experienced in configuration center operations, logistics, and network management, the Four partners built the new company in Bedford Park, Illinois. From a small warehouse, SNC employees worked diligently to help New York Stock exchange companies rebuild after the 911 disaster. Solutions Networking Corporation is built on flexibility in creating innovative solutions addressing today’s computing needs.

SNC Partners

John is one of the founding partners of Solutions Networking Corporation. He has 25 years of IT industry experience in Field Service Management, Distribution Center Management, Technical Services and Operations Management.

John began his IT career in 1977 with Computer Identics Corp servicing computerized optical bar code scanners for the railroad industry. In 1983, he began working for ADP Corporation servicing stock quote and news service computer systems for the brokerage industry. After moving up the ranks through management positions, John was promoted to design and operate a technical staging and distribution center. This extremely successful deployment project turned out 40,000 IBM PCs and servers nationwide to some of the largest brokerage firms in the world. In 1989 John joined a group of investors to form KDM Associates. As one of the founding partners and Vice President of Technical Services John designed and managed a state of the art technical center, servicing brokerage firms all over the world.

An expert in the art of repair and refurbishment of IT assets, John has helped many clients extend the life of their equipment, saving millions of dollars in needless replacement of hardware.

Rose has 20 years of experience as a Client Relationship Manager. She joined SNC as a founding partner and provides integrated support and solutions to the clients. Rose brings to SNC her experience in Project Management, Field Service Management and Operations Management.

Rose began her CRM career in 1983 with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc, working in the operations department supporting the daily trading activities for clients. In 1986, Rose advanced to Operations and Project Manager, where she was responsible for 6 of the 12 Merrill Lynch offices in Chicago. She was instrumental in financial planning and performed Client Trading Activities with the NYSE, PSE, NASDAQ, BSE, Toronto Exchange and multiple international exchanges. After holding many management positions, Rose was promoted to Field Service Manager for the Chicago offices where she was successful in the installation, training and rollout of new IT PCs and networking hardware for over 500 Merrill Lynch employees. In 2001, Rose joined KDM & Associates as the CRM, where she contributed her years of experience to a successful deployment of both domestic and international IT assets for some of the leading firms in the brokerage industry.

As a graduate of Illinois State University with a major in Business Administration and Economics, Rose has executed successful support and solutions for many clients, increasing the return on IT assets and providing a cost effective solution.

Roger's IT career began in 1969 for the Bunker Ramo Corporation servicing stock market quotation and news service equipment. He advanced through management positions, and in 1979 he was hired by Comtrend to run their Midwest Data Center, help desk and field service operations. In 1983, Comtrend was acquired by Automatic Data Processing. Roger helped start their national field service depot repair and distribution center for their stock brokerage clients.

In 1989, Roger joined a group of investors to form KDM Associates, Inc. As Vice-President of the MIS department and then Vice-President of Logistics he insured the smooth operations of a very successful company serving brokerage firms around the world. Roger utilizes his 34 years of field service, hardware, software and networking experience to help our clients achieve success in their business.

Herman Zelk

Herman is one of the founding partners of Solutions Networking Corp. He has thirty years of IT industry experience in field service, hardware, software and networking. He designed, wrote and now manages all internal IT and web based information systems at Solutions Networking Corp. In addition, Herman also supervises the day to day Order Management department operations as well as providing assistance on field service and marketing issues.

Herman began his IT career in 1973 in field engineering for GTE Information Systems working on financial computer systems for the brokerage industry. In 1980, he began designing and writing software inventory and administrative systems for MTTR Inc., ADP Information Systems and later in 1991 for KDM Associates Inc. Administratively, Herman managed nationwide dispatch, order processing centers and logistics departments, gaining valuable experience in operations and process controlled systems.

Herman received his education at Control Data Institute and is a certified Novell Administrator with extensive experience in Microsoft operating systems, servers and workstations, as well as routers, switches and hubs.
